A 64-year-old Caucasian man with a history of hypertension, diabetes, Raynaud’s phenomenon and coronary artery bypass grafting presented with chest pain and syncope. The echocardiogram revealed an extracardiac mass (arrow) with compression of the atrium (Figure 1).

Gardiquimod Nanoemulsion Targets Cutaneous Leishmaniasis Lesions Reducing Systemic Toxicity and Parasite Burden

Nanoemulsion delivery of a TLR7 agonist enhances safety and promotes colocalization with Leishmania‐infected macrophages in skin lesions, enabling a ∼2‐log reduction in parasite burden. However, tissue‐level constraints and TLR‐driven regulatory feedback generate a mixed immune response that limits complete parasite clearance.

Single aorta-coronary artery vein grafts (bridge grafts) were constructed to two coronary branches with a side-to-side anastomosis in 250 patients. Most of these grafts were constructed between circumflex branches (96 grafts), circumflex and diagnol branches (47 grafts), and anterior descending and diagonol branches (79 grafts).
