Elimination of saphenous reflux after tributary sclerotherapy: report of two cases
Most patients with chronic venous disease (CVD) and reflux in the saphenous vein are treated with saphenous stripping or ablation. The venous hemodynamics approach offers the possibility of treating saphenous reflux without eliminating the saphenous vein.

Morphological Changes in Endothelial Cell Organelles in a No-Touch Saphenous Vein Graft [PDF]
Introduction: Improved long-term patency of the no-touch (NT) saphenous vein graft has been reported to result from the preservation of a healthy vascular microstructure, especially endothelial cells.

SMALL SAPHENOUS VEIN: THE LIMB’S SMALL SAVIOR
Peripheral bypass grafting with autologous vein is the gold standard treatment of peripheral artery disease. In cases when the great saphenous vein is not available the arm veins or small saphenous veins are possible alternatives.

Importance Observational studies have suggested that the use of radial artery grafts for coronary artery bypass grafting may improve clinical outcomes compared with the use of saphenous vein grafts, but this has not been confirmed in randomized trials.

Radial‐Artery or Saphenous‐Vein Grafts in Coronary‐Artery Bypass Surgery
BACKGROUND The use of radial‐artery grafts for coronary‐artery bypass grafting (CABG) may result in better postoperative outcomes than the use of saphenous‐vein grafts.

Distribution of saphenous vein valves and its pratical importance
Objective: Among the veins used as a graft in myocardial revascularizations and ends, great saphenous vein is the most used. Knowing the presence and location of valves has great importance when evaluating the surgical anatomy of the great saphenous vein.

Towards Endoscopic No-Touch Saphenous Vein Graft Harvesting in Coronary Bypass Surgery [PDF]
The saphenous vein is the most used conduit for coronary artery bypass surgery. However, the patency rate of this graft is inferior to the internal thoracic artery patency rate, which is the gold standard.
