SAR-SIFT for Matching Multiple SAR Images and Radargrammetry [PDF]

open access: yesPFG – Journal of Photogrammetry, Remote Sensing and Geoinformation Science, 2017
This article presents a new application of the SAR-SIFT algorithm proposed by Dellinger et al. (IEEE Trans Geosci Remote Sens 53:453–466, 2015) for the automatic generation of tie points (TPs). In particular, SAR-SIFT is applied on stereo-SAR images to extract corresponding points and determine their 3D position.

Parameter selection in sparsity-driven SAR imaging [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
We consider a recently developed sparsity-driven synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging approach which can produce superresolution, feature-enhanced images.

Unambiguous Imaging Method for GEO-LEO Bistatic SAR Based on Joint Sequential Multiframe and Multichannel Receiving Recovery

open access: yesLeida xuebao, 2022
A geosynchronous (GEO) satellite can provide continuous illumination with broad beam coverage for a Low Earth Orbit (LEO) receiver, used as the transmitting station of bistatic Synthetic Aperture Radar (SAR).

End-to-End SAR Deep Learning Imaging Method Based on Sparse Optimization

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2021
Synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging has developed rapidly in recent years. Although the traditional sparse optimization imaging algorithm has achieved effective results, its shortcomings are slow imaging speed, large number of parameters, and high ...

First case of neurofibromatosis with posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome showing spinal cord involvement

open access: yesIndian Journal of Radiology and Imaging, 2018
Posterior reversible encephalopathy syndrome (PRES) is a well-documented pathology of the brain in systemic upsets. Majority of PRES cases present with edema in the cerebrum, most commonly in the territory of posterior circulation.

Research on Configuration Constraints of Airborne Bistatic SARs

open access: yesSensors, 2022
Based on the analysis of the airborne bistatic synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging geometric mode, an extended nonlinear chirp scaling algorithm is employed to simulate and verify the imaging effect of the bistatic SARs.

Experimental Synthetic Aperture Radar with Dynamic Metasurfaces

open access: yes, 2017
We investigate the use of a dynamic metasurface as the transmitting antenna for a synthetic aperture radar (SAR) imaging system. The dynamic metasurface consists of a one-dimensional microstrip waveguide with complementary electric resonator (cELC ...

Joint sparsity-driven inversion and model error correction for radar imaging [PDF]

open access: yes, 2009
Solution of inverse problems in imaging requires the use of a mathematical model of the observation process. However such models often involve errors and uncertainties themselves. The application of interest in this paper is synthetic aperture radar (SAR)
