La publication par Ph. Derchain du Papyrus Sait 825 semble battre définitivement en brèche l'opinion, trop longtemps répandue, que le caractère solaire de Sarapis était un apport grec. Ce caractère est bien authentiquement égyptien. Enfin, ce livre éclaire considérablement le passage célèbre de Rufin sur le baiser du soleil.
