Fluorescent and Chemiluminescent Dyes with Aryl Phthalimide and Aryl Luminol Chromophores
A series of photo‐active phthalimides and luminols is prepared by an arylation method from a key precursor. Significant stereoelectronic correlation of the aromatic substituents with the photophysical properties is documented. A new arylated luminol derivative shows a more than three times higher ΦCL than the parent luminol.

ABSTRACT The burial mounds of the early Iron Age, which we will refer to below as kurgans, from the nomadic equestrian warriors of Eurasia, form a very complex group of archaeological monuments. Revealing the relationship between 2‐D and 3‐D chondrule size–frequency distribution in a meteorite
Abstract Chondrule size–frequency distributions provide important information to understand the origin of chondrules. Size–frequency distributions are often obtained as apparent 2‐D size–frequency distributions in thin sections, as determining a 3‐D size–frequency distribution is notoriously difficult.
