Targeted RNA Sequencing Highlights a Diverse Genomic and Morphologic Landscape in Low-grade Endometrial Stromal Sarcoma, Including Novel Fusion Genes

American Journal of Surgical Pathology, 2023
Low-grade endometrial stromal sarcoma (LGESS) represents a morphologically and genetically heterogenous mesenchymal neoplasm. Previous work has shown that approximately half of LGESS are characterized by JAZF1::SUZ12 gene fusions, while a smaller ...

Multicystic endometrial stromal sarcoma

Annals of Diagnostic Pathology, 2004
Endometrial stromal sarcoma usually has the gross appearance of a single nodule, multiple masses, or a poorly demarcated lesion with occasional cystic degeneration; however, a multilocular form has not been described in the literature. We report the case of a 25-year-old woman with a cystic multilocular lesion with thin septae measuring 8 cm ...

Prognostic nomogram for predicting survival in patients with high grade endometrial stromal sarcoma: a Surveillance Epidemiology, and End Results database analysis

International Journal of Gynecological Cancer, 2020
Objective High grade endometrial stromal sarcoma is a rare and highly malignant tumor that lacks a prognostic model. The aim of this study was to develop a prognostic nomogram predicting the overall survival of patients with high grade endometrial ...
