Comprehending the Membrane Properties for Emulation in Organs‐on‐a‐Chip

The advent of organ‐on‐chip models allows closer emulation of in vivo conditions, leading to effective, less costly, and specific drugs. Although a number of membrane‐based on‐chip models exist, better emulating functional models need to be devised for organ simulations.

Synthetic Motifs for Understanding Lewis Acid Interactions with Persulfides and Thioselenides

Using isolated dichalcogenides as precursors, we report the synthesis, characterization, and reactivity of Zn persulfide and thioselenide complexes. 77Se NMR shows distinct impacts to electronic structure and reactivity between different thioselenides coordinated to different Lewis acids.
