Extending Field Limits in Nanoscale Magnetic Imaging With Metamaterial‐Inspired Magnetic Flux Concentrators

open access: yesSmall, Volume 22, Issue 43, 3 August 2026.
Micrometer‐sized flower‐shaped metamaterial magnetic flux concentrators are fabricated directly around nano and micromagnetic samples, enabling local field enhancement. Integrated into magnetic sensitive photoemission electron microscopy, they extend the available magnetic field range by up to a factor of five.

Cutaneous Breast Cancer Metastases Successfully Treated Using an Oxygen Flow Assisted Topical Administration of Methotrexate (OFAMTX)

open access: yesDermatology and Therapy, 2020
Introduction Cutaneous metastases of breast cancer remain a therapeutic challenge. Oxygen flow-assisted topical administration of methotrexate 5% (OFAMTX, 5% methotrexate in a carrier solution) has recently been proven to be an efficacious alternative ...

Assessing GNSS Reflectometry for High‐Latitude 3D Ionospheric Imaging

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics, Volume 131, Issue 8, August 2026.
Abstract This study investigates whether Global Navigation Satellite System Reflectometry (GNSS‐R) measurements from low‐Earth‐orbit (LEO) satellites can improve three‐dimensional (3D) ionospheric electron density imaging, with a focus on high‐latitude regions. Conventional ionospheric tomography is limited by sparse ground‐based receiver coverage over

Differentiating Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders From Attention‐Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Reviewing Diagnostic Guidelines

open access: yesAnnals of the New York Academy of Sciences, Volume 1562, Issue 1, August 2026.
ABSTRACT Individuals with prenatal alcohol exposure (PAE) and fetal alcohol spectrum disorders (FASDs) present a range of neurodevelopmental deficits (e.g., inattention, hyperactivity, and executive dysfunction) which have shown marked overlap with attention‐deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), making differential diagnosis challenging.
