Inversion of surface vegetation water content based on GNSS-IR and MODIS data fusion
Obtaining high-precision, long-term sequences of vegetation water content (VWC) is of great significance for assessing surface vegetation growth, soil moisture, and fire risk.

Mesoporous bioactive glass nanoparticles (MBGNs) are investigated for bone regeneration given their remarkable structural and functional properties. MBGNs are functionalized with Mn and Cu and incorporated with quercetin, a natural flavonoid exhibiting antioxidant, anti‐inflammatory, and antimicrobial properties.

Explorer Satellite Electronics [PDF]
A discussion is presented of the design restrictions and the philosophy which enabled the Explorer satellites to be first during the IGY to reveal the presence of a belt of intense cosmic radiation encircling the earth's equator.

A highly stable, low‐temperature phosphate glass is developed for multimaterial additive manufacturing of multifunctional microfluidics. Glass, metal conductors, and sacrificial polymer are coprinted, enabling monolithic fabrication. The sacrificial paste forms precise channels and decomposes during sintering.

The analemma criterion: accidental quasi-satellites are indeed true quasi-satellites
In the Solar system, a quasi-satellite is an object that follows a heliocentric path with an orbital period that matches almost exactly with that of a host body (planetary or not).

In this study, the unique role of the unusual lone‐pair‐π conjugation mechanism in poly(1,4‐anthraquinone) (P14AQ) is explored as an organic electrode material. Unlike traditional π‐π interactions, P14AQ's conjugation involves lone pairs of oxygen atoms interacting with the π cloud of adjacent units, enabling stable charge transport even with minimal π‐

PBTTT‐OR‐R, a C14‐alkoxy/alkyl‐PBTTT polymer derivative, is of substantial interest for optoelectronics due to its specific fullerene intercalation behavior and enhanced charge‐transfer absorption. Comparing this polymer with (S) and without (O) homocoupling defects reveals that PBTTT‐OR‐R(O) forms stable co‐crystals with PC61BM, while PBTTT‐OR‐R(S ...

Satellite abundances around bright isolated galaxies
We study satellite galaxy abundances in SDSS by counting photometric galaxies around isolated bright primaries. We present results as a function of the luminosity, stellar mass and colour of the satellites, and of the stellar mass and colour of the ...
