Advances and Perspectives in Graphene‐Based Quantum Dots Enabled Neuromorphic Devices

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Graphene‐based QDs are zero‐dimensional carbon nanomaterials with pronounced quantum confinement and tunable electronic structures. Herein, we summarize their synthesis strategies and functionalization methods, and highlight their functional roles and operating mechanisms in devices, as well as recent advances in neuromorphic electronics. We anticipate

Scalable Engineering of Bio‐Manufactured Extracellular Vesicles for Selective Delivery in Ovarian Cancer Patient‐Derived Models

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Engineered extracellular vesicles displaying Ephrin‐B2 selectively target Ephrin‐B4–expressing ovarian cancer cells, enabling precise delivery in patient‐derived models. This scalable bio‐manufacturing platform reveals a versatile strategy to exploit Ephrin signaling for highly specific therapeutic payload delivery and motivates exploration of tailored

Development concept of inter-satellite laser communication

open access: yesSiberian Aerospace Journal, 2023
The relevance of this research work is dictated, among other things, by the need to ensure higher requirements for the accuracy characteristics of the navigation field created by spacecraft of the GLONASS navigation system in order to meet the high requirements for the accuracy characteristics of navigation determinations over long intervals of ...

Using a GPS-Aided Inertial System for Coarse-Pointing of Free-Space Optical Communication Terminals [PDF]

open access: yes, 2006
In the Capanina project, it has been shown that it is possible to use solely GPS positions for coarse-pointing of a stratospheric free-space optical communication terminal.

Dielectric‐Confinement‐Induced in‐Plane Photoelectric Anisotropy in Isotropic Quasi‐1D γ‐GaS Nanoribbon

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We investigate the geometry‐governed optoelectronic anisotropy arising from dielectric confinement in quasi‐1D γ‐GaS nanoribbons with intrinsically isotropic atomic structures. Dielectric mismatch between the nanoribbon and its surroundings leads to a general polarization‐dependent photoresponse during near‐field scattering.

Reduction and analysis of one-way laser ranging data from ILRS ground stations to LRO

open access: yes, 2013
One-way LR (Laser Ranging) is being performed routinely from ILRS (International Laser Ranging Service) ground stations to LOLA (Lunar Orbiter Laser Altimeter), onboard NASA’s LRO (Lunar Reconnaissance Orbiter).

Stratospheric Optical Inter-Platform Links for High Altitude Platforms

open access: yes, 2002
Optical propagation simulations for the case of a laser optical link between two stratospheric High Altitude Platforms have been performed. The simulations, together with communications link budget calculations, show that high data rate communications ...
