Satellite Magnetics Suggest a Complex Geothermal Heat Flux Pattern beneath the Greenland Ice Sheet
Geothermal heat flow is key to unraveling several large-scale geophysical systems, including the inner workings of the Greenlandic ice sheet, and by extension, the possibility of understanding the past and prior global climate.

The magnetic cleanliness of a satellite Based on optimum placement of equipment using PSO [PDF]
Magnetometer is one of the most sensors due to its lightness and low power consumption in satellites. Therefore, the magnitude of the magnetic field at the location of the magnetometer should be less than the magnetic cleanliness characteristics defined ...

Magnetic attitude control for satellites [PDF]
In this paper it is proven that three-axis stabilization of satellites using magnetorqers is uniformly globally asymptotically stable (UGAS). The application of Matrosovs theorem allows for removal of the assumption that the geomagnetic (internal and external) field is periodic in order to establish this stability result.

Satellite Orbital Drag During Magnetic Storms [PDF]
AbstractWe investigate satellite orbital drag effects at low‐Earth orbit associated with thermosphere heating during magnetic storms caused by coronal mass ejections. CHAllenge Mini‐satellite Payload (CHAMP) and Gravity Recovery And Climate Experiment (GRACE) neutral density data are used to compute orbital drag.
