Flexoelectrically Induced Polar Topology in Twisted SrTiO3 Membranes

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Twisted SrTiO3 bilayers host polar vortices of flexoelectric origin, revealed through combined experiment and theory. By reconstructing polarization from the toroidal moment of strain gradients, the work establishes a 3D chiral state with broken inversion and mirror symmetries.

Comparing acoustic and satellite telemetry: an analysis quantifying the space use of Chelonia mydas in Bimini, Bahamas

open access: yesRoyal Society Open Science
Passive acoustic and Argos satellite telemetry are common methods for tracking marine species and are often used similarly to quantify space use. However, data-driven comparisons of these methods and their associated ecological inferences are limited. To

Motion Planning for the On-orbit Grasping of a Non-cooperative Target Satellite with Collision Avoidance

open access: yes, 2010
A method for grasping a tumbling noncooperative target is presented, which is based on nonlinear optimization and collision avoidance. Motion constraints on the robot joints as well as on the end-effector forces are considered.

Polymorph‐Specific Electronic Transduction in WO3 during Molecular Sensing

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Metal‐oxide polymorphs with similar surface chemistry can nevertheless exhibit distinct sensing properties. In γ‐ and ε‐WO3, analyte adsorption appears comparable; yet, only ε‐WO3 induces a pronounced lattice electronic perturbation that accommodates charge in sub‐conduction band minimum states.

SATPC32 SEBAGAI ALAT BANTU TRACKING SATELIT ORBIT RENDAH

open access: yes, 2008

Hydrological mass changes inferred from high-low satellite-to-satellite tracking data [PDF]

open access: yes, 2013
The technique of deriving time variable gravity (TVG) field observations from high-low satellite-to-satellite tracking (hl-SST) is beginning to establish itself as a valuable and supplementary source for the determination and description of long ...
