Abstract Transmitters were attached to four adult male Cory's Shearwaters (Calonectris diomedea) caught at their breeding sites off Crete, Greece, in autumn 1998. The birds had left the Mediterranean by the beginning of December. Two were last recorded in the eastern tropical Atlantic in January/February.

Circulating microRNAs as biomarkers of cachexia and sex‐specific cancer in senior dogs. In 25 client‐owned dogs, four circulating miRNAs (miR‐15a, miR‐15b, miR‐16, miR‐140) were downregulated in cachexia, with miR‐16 the strongest individual biomarker (AUC = 0.899).

The cytoskeleton‐mediated transport of mitochondria via tunnelling nanotubes restores respiration, increases ATP production, rescues cells from apoptosis, activates the AKT/mTOR signalling pathway, promotes cell migration and invasiveness, contributes to cancer progression and treatment resistance.
