Trajectory tracking control of failure satellite with actuator jumping fault

open access: yesXibei Gongye Daxue Xuebao, 2022
This paper studied the trajectory tracking control of a failure satellite that has actuator jumping fault. It proposed a design method based on the jumping control input for the model reference tracking controller.

Satellite Tracking of Cory's Shearwater Migration [PDF]

open access: yesThe Condor, 2000
Abstract Transmitters were attached to four adult male Cory's Shearwaters (Calonectris diomedea) caught at their breeding sites off Crete, Greece, in autumn 1998. The birds had left the Mediterranean by the beginning of December. Two were last recorded in the eastern tropical Atlantic in January/February.

A State-Space Approach for Tracking Doppler Shifts in Radio Inter-Satellite Links

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
The high Doppler effects in satellite communications make the equivalent channels fast varying, which leads to channel estimation difficulties and the need for high channel estimation overheads.

Circulating microRNA signatures of cachexia and cancer in Canis familiaris as a comparative oncology model for human disease

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Circulating microRNAs as biomarkers of cachexia and sex‐specific cancer in senior dogs. In 25 client‐owned dogs, four circulating miRNAs (miR‐15a, miR‐15b, miR‐16, miR‐140) were downregulated in cachexia, with miR‐16 the strongest individual biomarker (AUC = 0.899).

From energy provision to protein synthesis: Tunnelling nanotubes as mediators of intercellular metabolic cooperation in cancer

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
The cytoskeleton‐mediated transport of mitochondria via tunnelling nanotubes restores respiration, increases ATP production, rescues cells from apoptosis, activates the AKT/mTOR signalling pathway, promotes cell migration and invasiveness, contributes to cancer progression and treatment resistance.

Station-Keeping Maneuvers for a Geostationary Satellite Using Linear Quadratic Regulator [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Astronomy and Space Sciences, 1997
This paper applied one of the well-known optimal control theory, namely, linear quadratic regulator(LQR), to the station-keeping maneuvers(SKM) for a geostationary satellite.

Subclinical Optic Nerve Involvement in Radiologically Isolated Syndrome: Multimodal Detection and Diagnostic Impact

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objectives We aimed to determine the frequency of subclinical optic nerve (ON) lesions using MRI, optical coherence tomography (OCT), and visual evoked potentials (VEP) in radiologically isolated syndrome (RIS), and to assess their diagnostic and prognostic significance.
