Reflective carbon nanotube as the saturable absorber for mode-locked 1064 nm laser

With a reflective single-walled carbon nanotube as the saturable absorber, a laser diode-pumped passively mode-locked Nd:YVO4 laser at 1064 nm was realized for the first time. The pulse duration of 12 Ps was produced with a repetition rate of 83.7 MHz.
