Model-free algorithm for the optimal design of multi-control with hierarchical and saturating constraints

2021 International Conference on Security, Pattern Analysis, and Cybernetics(SPAC), 2021
This paper is focus on the hierarchical optimal multi-control problem with and saturating control inputs, it does not to require any model information for linear systems. To avoid reconstructing the model, a model-free learning algorithm is proposed, the controllers are built by the measured data directly.

Nonparametric Testing of Saturated D-optimal Designs

2014
In this paper we propose a modification of the Loughin–Noble permutation test of significance of factorial effects for unreplicated orthogonal factorial designs, Loughin and Noble (Technometrics 39(2):180–190, 1997), when orthogonal factorial designs are replaced by D-optimal saturated designs.

An LQG optimal design in the stochastic system with saturated driving

1986 25th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 1986
In this paper, a stability criterion for stochastic multivariable feedback systems with saturated actuators is derived. An algorithm is proposed to choose an appropriate scalar weighting of LQG performance index to satisfy the stabililty criterion, and then a robust LQG optimal controller is obtained to override the windup phenomenon incurred by ...

Pulse design for joint optimization of semisolid saturation and free water rotation

ISMRM Annual Meeting, 2023
In MT imaging, particularly at ultra-high field, results can be influenced by spatial variations in both (1) on-resonance flip angle and (2) RF saturation specified by B1rms including on- and off-resonance contributions. Conventional pulse design with parallel transmission focuses on homogenizing flip angle (α) distributions but does not ...

Optimizing the experimental design of soil columns in saturated and unsaturated transport experiments

Journal of Contaminant Hydrology, 2010
Soil column experiments in both the saturated and unsaturated regimes are widely used for applied and theoretical studies in such diverse fields as transport model evaluation, fate and transport of pesticides, explosives, microbes, heavy metals and non aqueous phase liquids, and for evapotranspiration studies.

Optimal controller design for discrete saturating systems

International Journal of Control, 1994
A design procedure is proposed for synthesizing a linear-quadratic-Gaussian (LQG) optimal controller to obtain excess robustness optimization against noise spectral uncertainties, non-linear time-varying (NLTV) unmodelled dynamics in the discrete saturating systems.

Optimal Design of a Feedback Controller that Achieves Output Regulation in the Presence of Actuator Saturation

Proceedings of the 44th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control, 2006
In this paper, we show a design method of a feedback control law that achieves output regulation in the presence of actuator saturation. It is well-known that it is impossible to obtain a bounded feedback control law that achieves global output regulation in the case where the plant has unstable poles. For such systems, we show a method of constructing

On the Study of Saturated and D-Optimal Saturated Designs for Two-Level Factorial Experiments

2020
We contemplate an experimental situation in a $2^k$-factorial experiment with acute resource crunch so that we need to conduct just a saturated design [SD] - with the understanding that precision of the estimates cannot be estimated from the data. It is known beforehand which effect(s)/interaction(s) are likely to be negligible.

Saturated control design of a quadrotor with heterogeneous comprehensive learning particle swarm optimization

Swarm and Evolutionary Computation, 2019
Abstract This paper presents a novel saturated control method for a quadrotor to realize three–dimensional spatial trajectory tracking with heterogeneous comprehensive learning particle swarm optimization (HCLPSO). First, the model of the quadrotor is decomposed into cascaded control structure (CCS) with inner attitude control loop and outer position
