Dynamic Detection Device for Transverse Defects of Tubing
To address the problem of low visibility and poor detection accuracy of traditional magnetic flux leakage detection device on the transverse and longitudinal defects of the tubing, a transverse defect detection device was designed. Based on the theory of

Atom detection in a two-mode optical cavity with intermediate coupling: Autocorrelation studies
We use an optical cavity in the regime of intermediate coupling between atom and cavity mode to detect single moving atoms. Degenerate polarization modes allow excitation of the atoms in one mode and collection of spontaneous emission in the other, while

Saturation Attacks on DM CV-QKD: Threat Analysis and Machine Learning-Based Defense
Discretely modulated continuous-variable quantum key distribution (DM CV-QKD) protocols, while promising for extended transmission distances, face significant security threats in practice due to discrepancies between theoretical and actual system models.

Study on the Relationship between Lithological Differences and Electromagnetic Changes during Mine Water Inrush [PDF]
To address the issue of low detection and identification accuracy of water sources and channels under mine water inrush conditions. The effects of lithology, water saturation, and salinity on the conductivity of five kinds of coal and rock were studied ...

Performance of Graphene Thermal Photon Detectors
We analyze the performance of graphene microstructures as thermal photon detectors and deduce the range of parameters that define a linear response. The saturation effects of a graphene thermal detector that operates beyond the linear range are described

Current Transformer Saturation Detection Using Gaussian Mixture Models
AbstractThis paper presents a novel current transformer (CT) saturation detection approach based on Gaussian Mixture Models (GMMs). High accuracy is the advantage of this method. GMMs are trained with secondary current of CT. The appropriate performance of the proposed method is tested by simulation of different fault conditions in PSCAD/EMTDC software.

A Fault Tolerant Approach to Anti-windup Gain Implementation
A new approach to anti-windup gain implementation is shown. To this aim, a fault detection and isolation system is used. Actuators saturation is taken as a failure in the control system, which is detected and isolated by means of a fault detection filter
