The Game Saturation Number of a Graph [PDF]
Given a family F and a host graph H, a graph G⊆H is F ‐saturated relative to H if no subgraph of G lies in F but adding any edge from E(H)−E(G) to G creates such a subgraph.

Reachability analysis of first-order definable pushdown systems [PDF]
We study pushdown systems where control states, stack alphabet, and transition relation, instead of being finite, are first-order definable in a fixed countably-infinite structure.

The Flip Diameter of Rectangulations and Convex Subdivisions
We study the configuration space of rectangulations and convex subdivisions of $n$ points in the plane. It is shown that a sequence of $O(n\log n)$ elementary flip and rotate operations can transform any rectangulation to any other rectangulation on the ...

In human monocytic cells THP‐1, a limited uptake of native—not oxidized—LDL/VLDL induced expression of scavenger receptor A and cellular adhesion. Induction was inhibited by lysosomotropic (WR‐1065) and lipophilic (BHT) antioxidants and by siRNAs against ferritinophagy.

Constructing regular ultrafilters from a model-theoretic point of view [PDF]
This paper contributes to the set-theoretic side of understanding Keisler's order. We consider properties of ultrafilters which affect saturation of unstable theories: the lower cofinality $\lcf(\aleph_0, \de)$ of $\aleph_0$ modulo $\de$, saturation of ...

A detailed workflow for recombinant GALC production and characterization is presented to support enzyme replacement therapy for Krabbe disease. In vitro assays demonstrate that physiological GALC doses restore enzymatic activity and autophagic flux without affecting cell viability, whereas higher doses impair autophagy and reduce viability.

This study explores aerosol jet‐printed (AJP) surface roughness, its effects on the performance of microwave electronics, and its process contributors. First, an electromagnetic model is vetted for AJP's unique roughness signature. Simulations are built which show process‐induced roughness is as significant as conductor resistivity in driving microwave

The functional properties of Fe–Mn–Si–Cr‐based shape memory alloys are influenced, among other things, by their chemical composition. Here, the vaporization of Mn, the most volatile element of the alloy, is investigated. It is shown that the process parameters make noninterchangeable contributions to the vaporization and that vaporization differences ...
