Potential‐Dependent Reversible Restructuring of Pt–Au Alloy Electrocatalysts
Small, EarlyView.Using electrochemical X‐ray photoelectron spectroscopy (XPS), we show that Pt–Au alloys adjust their surface elemental composition to the applied electrochemical conditions. The surface dynamics are found to be highly reversible, even at room temperature, suggesting that dynamic restructuring of alloy nanoparticles occurs in a wide range of conditions,
