This study unveils a pathogenic axis in oral cancer where NUDT21 suppresses a tumor suppressor network, prominently PTEN, via 3'UTR lengthening. To exploit this transcriptomic vulnerability, we developed a biomimetic Nano‐APA‐editor. By delivering CRISPR/Cas9, we reprogrammed the global 3'UTR landscape, restoring multi‐target tumor suppression and ...

Osmosis effect on protein sustained release of Agarose hydrogel for anti-friction performance
Agarose hydrogel as an efficient carrier for protein model has been considered to optimize the lubrication of artificial hip joints. Elevating the effectiveness of lubricant to reduce frictional coefficient and wear debris to prolong life time of ...

We investigate MACE‐MP‐0 and M3GNet, two general‐purpose machine learning potentials, in materials discovery and find that both generally yield reliable predictions. At the same time, both potentials show a bias towards overstabilizing high energy metastable states. We deduce a metric to quantify when these potentials are safe to use.

Corrosion resistance investigation of surface modified biocompatible β-titanium alloys
International audienceIn this work we focused on the corrosion resistance properties of Ti-12Mo-6Zr-2Fe alloy for biomedical applications. Different surface modifications were processed on the TMZF alloy surface and the impact on the corrosion behaviour ...

Key demographic, biological, and material considerations that drive the need for advanced injectable bone cement technologies. Injectable bone cements (IBCs) are widely used in orthopaedic and craniofacial applications due to their minimally invasive delivery and ability to provide early mechanical stabilisation.

Structural Characterisation of Bioactive Glasses [PDF]
Melt-quenched glasses containing SiO2, CaO, Na2O and P2O5, and sol-gel derived glasses containing SiO2 and CaO are known to have bioactive properties. Foaming of binary sol-gel derived bioactive glasses containing SiO2 and CaO can be used to produce ...

Application of dynamic modelling and model‐based predictive control to enhance a cooling tower
Model predictive control (MPC) applied to improve the operation of cooling towers. Abstract Model predictive control (MPC) differs from traditional feedback control by making predictions within a time horizon, providing better control actions for the process.

ABSTRACT This study draws on neo‐institutional theory, stakeholder theory, and the resource‐based view to examine the relationship between the use of Life Cycle Analysis (LCA) and firms' Environmental Performance (EP). Focusing on French companies listed on the SBF 120 index from 2002 to 2021, it investigates how LCA adoption influences EP across three
