Evaluating the In Vitro Digestibility of Black Soldier Fly (Hermetia illucens L.) Larvae as Potential Feed Ingredient in Dairy Cattle Silage‐Based Diets: A Focus on Proteins

open access: yesJournal of Animal Physiology and Animal Nutrition, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Dietary protein has a substantial economic impact on cattle feed, and it is also a critical component for animal growth and productivity. Several environmental issues related to soybeans have led to an increased interest in novel protein sources, such as insects.

Exact Recovery in the Geometric SBM

open access: yes
Community detection is the problem of identifying dense communities in networks. Motivated by transitive behavior in social networks ("thy friend is my friend"), an emerging line of work considers spatially-embedded networks, which inherently produce graphs containing many triangles. In this paper, we consider the problem of exact label recovery in the

Global Poultry Feed Protein Sources: Trends, Challenges, and Sustainability Perspectives Using FAOSTAT Data

open access: yesJournal of Animal Physiology and Animal Nutrition, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT The global poultry industry is one of the fastest‐growing livestock sectors, with worldwide chicken stocks exceeding 32 billion heads and meat production surpassing 144 million tonnes in 2024 (FAOSTAT, 2026). Conventional protein sources, particularly soybean meal (SBM) and fishmeal, underpin most commercial poultry diets but face mounting ...

Autoregressive Hypergraph

open access: yesJournal of Time Series Analysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Traditional graph representations are insufficient for modelling real‐world phenomena involving multi‐entity interactions, such as collaborative projects or protein complexes, necessitating the use of hypergraphs. While hypergraphs preserve the intrinsic nature of such complex relationships, existing models often overlook temporal evolution in

Similar Muscle Recovery but Greater Soreness in Active Vegans on Low‐Protein Diets Compared to High‐Protein Omnivores Following Exercise‐Induced Damage

open access: yesNutrition Bulletin, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT To assess whether a low‐protein vegan diet is associated with differences in recovery from exercise‐induced muscle damage (EIMD) in physically active individuals. Physically active vegans (n = 7) and omnivores (n = 7) underwent a lower‐body muscle damage protocol consisting of five sets of repetitions to failure using the Smith machine squat ...

Psychophysical Assessment of Gustatory Function in Burning Mouth Syndrome: A Systematic Review

open access: yesOral Diseases, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective To evaluate whether psychophysically assessed gustatory function differs between adults with burning mouth syndrome and age‐ and sex‐matched healthy controls, and to explore related sensory and physiological factors. Methods This systematic review followed the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta‐Analyses ...

Human Herpesvirus 8 Causes a Wide Spectrum of Disease in Liver Transplant Recipients and May be Donor Derived: Case Series and Systematic Review of an Emerging Challenge

open access: yesTransplant Infectious Disease, EarlyView.
Among 135 cases of post‐liver transplant HHV8 disease (4 from NSW), presentations varied, and mortality was high (44%). Donor screening was rare, and donor‐derived infection was suspected in 33%. Survival improved with mTORi, reduced immunosuppression, chemotherapy, and, for non‐KS disease, donor screening. ABSTRACT Background Human herpesvirus 8 (HHV8)

A new family of models with generalized orientation in data envelopment analysis

open access: yesInternational Transactions in Operational Research, Volume 34, Issue 1, Page 580-605, January 2027.
Abstract In the framework of data envelopment analysis, we review directional models and show that they are inadequate when inputs and outputs are improved simultaneously under constant returns to scale. Conversely, we introduce a new family of quadratically constrained models with generalized orientation and demonstrate that these models overcome this

UAV‐based RGB and multispectral vegetation indices as alternatives to light box‐derived dark green color index for turfgrass color assessment

open access: yesThe Plant Phenome Journal, Volume 9, Issue 1, December 2026.
Abstract Traditionally, turfgrass color has been assessed through visual ratings or light box‐based digital image analysis, methods that are either subjective or labor‐intensive. In this study, we evaluated the potential of unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV)‐based multispectral and red‐green‐blue (RGB) imagery as a high‐throughput alternative for capturing ...
