List-based Detection of Single-carrier Frequency Domain Equalization

open access: yes工程科学与技术, 2010
:In order to improve the performance of symbol detection in single-carrier frequency domain equalization (SC-FDE) system, a list-based detection method used in SC-FDE was proposed, and its performance was analyzed.

Joint turbo equalisation and carrier synchronisation for SC‐FDE schemes [PDF]

open access: yesEuropean Transactions on Telecommunications, 2010
AbstractIn this paper we consider the use of single carrier (SC) modulations combined with frequency‐domain equalisation (FDE) in future broadband wireless systems. We propose iterative receiver structures with joint equalisation and carrier synchronisation.

When Trauma Meets Personality and Suicide: A Case Report on Complex PTSD and Borderline Personality Disorder

open access: yesCase Reports in Psychiatry, Volume 2026, Issue 1, 2026.
Complex posttraumatic stress disorder (C‐PTSD), formally recognized in ICD‐11, was proposed to capture the enduring psychological sequelae of chronic and interpersonal trauma, particularly when occurring during development. Its clinical overlap with borderline personality disorder (BPD) remains a matter of ongoing debate.

Analog SC-FDE using SSB technique

open access: yesIEICE Communications Express, 2015
In order to improve performance while keeping high spectrum efficiency of analog signal transmission, we recently proposed an analog single-carrier transmission with frequency-domain equalization (analog SC-FDE). In this paper, in order to improve the spectrum efficiency, analog SC-FDE using single sideband (SSB) technique is proposed.

A Greener Approach to 2,5‐Furandicarboxylate Macrocycles and their Entropically Driven Ring Opening Polymerization

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Organic Chemistry, Volume 28, Issue 45, December 10, 2025.
2,5‐furandicarboxylic acid‐based polymers are obtained through the entropically driven ring‐opening polymerization of the corresponding macrocyclic oligoesters (MCOs). MCOs are synthesized using cyclopentyl methyl ether as a green solvent and purified without column chromatography.

Ultra‐wideband TFLN modulator with selectively removed slab based on multifunctional BCB platform for high coupling efficiency and suppressed EO relaxation

open access: yesNanophotonics, Volume 14, Issue 26, Page 4749-4759, December 2025.
Abstract Thin‐film lithium niobate (TFLN) has a proven record of building high‐performance electro‐optic (EO) modulators. However, it has consistently posed challenges in securing low driving voltage, wide electro‐optic bandwidth, low insertion loss, and high modulation efficiency simultaneously.

Tailored Frequency Conversion in Nonlinear Subwavelength Grating Metaslabs

open access: yesLaser &Photonics Reviews, Volume 19, Issue 17, September 4, 2025.
Subwavelength gratings are introduced as a tool for flexible, accurate control of phase matching (PM) in integrated optical frequency converters. Implemented in partially etched GaAs metaslab waveguides, tuning of the second‐harmonic PM wavelength by up to 100 nm is achieved, with wider ranges predicted by simulations.

Characteristics and outcomes of older patients undergoing out‐ versus inpatient surgery in Europe. A secondary analysis of the Peri‐interventional Outcome Study in the Elderly (POSE)

open access: yesActa Anaesthesiologica Scandinavica, Volume 69, Issue 4, April 2025.
Abstract Background The number of older patients undergoing surgical procedures with anaesthesia care is projected to rise. In order to cope with the increased demand, the expansion of outpatient surgery may play a decisive role. We aim to investigate the characteristics and outcomes of the older outpatient population.
