To mitigate primary user emulation attack trajectory using cognitive single carrier frequency division multiple access approaches: Towards next generation green IoT

open access: yesEngineering Reports, Volume 5, Issue 12, December 2023., 2023
This article has been presented with imperative and up‐to‐date information about authenticating end‐to‐end data transmission among secondary users' needs a large amount of power, leading to harmful interference to primary users. To overcome such massive energy consumption, significant bandwidth efficiency is always a key concern; thus, in this research,

Evaluation of orthogonal frequency‐division multiple‐access systems in the presence of carrier frequency offset using wireless images transmission

open access: yesIET Communications, Volume 17, Issue 9, Page 1059-1080, June 2023., 2023
The aim of this paper is to analyze the impact of the carrier frequency offsets (CFOs) on the performance of Discrete Sine Transform (DST) DST‐OFDMA, Discrete Cosine Transform (DCT) DCT‐OFDMA and Discrete Fourier Transform (DFT) DFT‐OFDMA systems and to evaluate them with different modulation schemes and different subcarriers mapping schemes over ...

BRD_ESRNet and SRS‐Based Channel Estimation

open access: yesJournal of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Volume 2023, Issue 1, 2023., 2023
In wireless communication, the channel function estimated commonly has errors due to the influence of noise, so traditional channel estimation methods cannot accurately estimate the real channel function. Aiming at this problem, we propose a channel estimation method that combines sounding reference signal (SRS) remapping with the deep‐learning network

BER and PSD Improvement of FBMC with Higher Order QAM Using Hermite Filter for 5G Wireless Communication and beyond

open access: yesJournal of Electrical and Computer Engineering, Volume 2023, Issue 1, 2023., 2023
Nowadays, multicarrier modulation schemes are being widely used in wireless communication system than single‐carrier modulation techniques. Single‐carrier modulation schemes are less capable of dealing with multipath fading channels than multicarrier modulation schemes, which results in lower spectral efficiency.

Conflict, displacement, and economic revival: The case of the internally displaced minority entrepreneurs in Pakistan

open access: yesStrategic Change, Volume 31, Issue 4, Page 461-477, July 2022., 2022
Abstract This article examines enterprise activities developed by internally displaced religious minorities (IDRM) and the role that social capital plays in supporting such activities. In particular, the article examines how social capital is linked to microenterprise development and the economic survival/revival of internally displaced religious ...

Feasibility of using a software‐defined baseband for multiple space per aperture (MSPA) ground operations

open access: yesInternational Journal of Satellite Communications and Networking, Volume 40, Issue 2, Page 133-147, March/April 2022., 2022
We present the feasibility study of performing multiple spacecraft per aperture ground operations by using low‐cost software‐defined baseband. The telemetry link shows minimal BER degradation. The telecommand link shows modulation index distortion and out‐of‐band emissions that necessitate a software‐defined signal pre‐distorter.

Simulation Analysis of 4G/5G OFDM Systems by Optimal Wavelets with BPSK Modulator

open access: yesJournal of Sensors, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
LTE (Long‐Term Evolution) is one of the appropriate technologies to sever the requirement of the IoT (Internet of Things) together with mobile UE (User Equipment), because of priority services, high data rate, low latency, etc. LTE has received OFDM for the transmission because it meets the necessity of LTE‐like range flexibility and empowers the cost ...
