2021 IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics-Taiwan (ICCE-TW), 2021There are two main algorithms, successive cancellation (SC) algorithm and brief propagation (BP) algorithm, for decoding polar code. The SC algorithm has better error-correcting performance and the BP algorithm has low latency. The hybrid BP-SC decoding combines these two decoding algorithms and achieves improvements.
