‘Matters of Household Proffit’: Sixteenth‐Century Manuscript and Print Exchanges in Bodleian Library, Ashmole 1477☆

open access: yesRenaissance Studies, EarlyView.
Abstract The household book is a particular feature of the landscape of manuscript production post‐1475, and is particularly associated with women. Compiling manuscript household books in a post‐print landscape involved a specific kind of dialogue between the two material forms.

Hybrid BP-SC/SCF Decoding for Polar Codes

2021 IEEE International Conference on Consumer Electronics-Taiwan (ICCE-TW), 2021
There are two main algorithms, successive cancellation (SC) algorithm and brief propagation (BP) algorithm, for decoding polar code. The SC algorithm has better error-correcting performance and the BP algorithm has low latency. The hybrid BP-SC decoding combines these two decoding algorithms and achieves improvements.

Efficient Folded SC Polar Line Decoder

2018 IEEE 23rd International Conference on Digital Signal Processing (DSP), 2018
This paper aims at designing a hardware efficient architecture for successive cancellation (SC) polar decoder. Existing literatures have shown that SC polar decoder can be implemented with $\mathcal{O}(M)$ processing elements and $\mathcal{O}(M)$ memory elements, where $M$ is the code length.
