In this work, we reveal how different enzyme binding configurations influence the fluorescence decay of NAD(P)H in live cells using time‐resolved anisotropy imaging and fluorescence lifetime imaging microscopy (FLIM). Mathematical modelling shows that the redox states of the NAD and NADP pools govern these configurations, shaping their fluorescence ...

Local Availability of mathematics and number scaling: Effects on quantum physics
Local availability of mathematics and number scaling provide an approach to a coherent theory of physics and mathematics. Local availability of mathematics assigns separate mathematical universes, U_{x}, to each space time point, x.

This study develops a semi‐supervised classifier integrating multi‐genomic data (1404 training/5893 validation samples) to improve homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) detection in breast cancer. Our method demonstrates prognostic value and predicts chemotherapy/PARP inhibitor sensitivity in HRD+ tumours.

Wheeler-DeWitt Quantization of Gravity Models of Unified Dark Energy and Dark Matter
First, we describe the construction of a new type of gravity-matter models based on the formalism of non-Riemannian space-time volume forms - alternative generally covariant integration measure densities (volume elements) defined in terms of auxiliary ...

Production of scalar {ital K{bar K}} molecules in {phi} radiative decays [PDF]
The potentialities of the production of the scalar K{bar K} molecules in {phi} radiative decays are considered beyond the narrow resonance width approximation. It is shown that B{bold (}{phi}{r_arrow}{gamma}f{sub 0}(a{sub 0}){r_arrow}{gamma}{pi}{pi}({pi}{

In prostate carcinoma, lactic acid, secreted by highly glycolytic cancer‐associated fibroblasts, is imported into tumor cells through the MCT1 transporter and prevents RSL3 and erastin‐induced ferroptosis (A). Targeting of carbonic anhydrase IX/XII, the main extracellular pH regulators, in tumor and stromal cells reduces microenvironmental acidosis and

Integral and fractional equations, positive solutions, and Schaefer's fixed point theorem [PDF]
This is the continuation of four earlier studies of a scalar fractional differential equation of Riemann-Liouville type \[D^qx(t) = -f(t,x(t)), \quad \lim_{t\to 0^+} t^{1-q} x(t) = x^0 \in\Re \quad (0 \lt q \lt 1), \tag {a}\] in which we first invert it ...

Decrypting cancer's spatial code: from single cells to tissue niches
Spatial transcriptomics maps gene activity across tissues, offering powerful insights into how cancer cells are organised, switch states and interact with their surroundings. This review outlines emerging computational, artificial intelligence (AI) and geospatial approaches to define cell states, uncover tumour niches and integrate spatial data with ...
