Monocular visual servo control of a quadcopter for crossing windows, doors, and corridors

open access: yesAsian Journal of Control, EarlyView.
Abstract This paper proposes a sequential visual servo control scheme for quadcopters, where the main goal is to drive a quadcopter to a desired pose while crossing windows, doors, or corridors using only visual feedback. This control scheme is composed of two stages that act in sequence: the approaching and pose regulation phases.

Role of Silicon as Structural Stabilizer and Redox‐Active Element in Multicomponent (Sn, Sb, Fe, Si) Alloy Electrodes for Na‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, EarlyView.
Multicomponent alloys based on Sn, Sb, Si, and Fe are prepared via ball milling and tested as Na‐ion battery electrodes. Despite its promise as a high‐capacity material, Si is found to be redox‐inactive. However, it acts as a structure stabilizer in multicomponent alloys, enabling stable cycling.Metal alloys are attractive electrode materials for ...

Glyme‐based Localized High Concentration Electrolytes Improve the Stability of Na‐ion Battery Materials in Half‐cells

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, EarlyView.
Diglyme‐based localized high concentration electrolyte (LHCE/G2) enhances the cycling stability of layered oxide cathodes against Na metal counter electrode. This study demonstrates the superior performance of LHCE/G2 over the dilute carbonate electrolytes, recommending it as the electrolyte of choice for evaluating SIB materials in half‐cell ...

Revitamize LFP! Ascorbic Acid‐Assisted Direct Regeneration of Spent LiFePO4 for Li‐Ion Batteries

open access: yesBatteries &Supercaps, EarlyView.
This study presents a one‐step, environmentally friendly lithiation process for regenerating spent LFP cathodes under ambient conditions using low‐cost reagents, including ascorbic acid. A simplified scheme of the green lithiation process in aqueous solution is illustrated, showing the recycling loop from cathode recovery to regeneration and the ...
