Aspidiotus Dearnessi, n. sp.—♀. Scale suboval, about 2 mm. long, moderately convex, pale gray, more or less concentrically ridged; with the orange-yellow, partly exposed exuviæ quite to one side. Ventral scale thick and distinct. The scales resemble minute oyster-shells.
