Emapalumab for Immune Effector Cell‐Associated Hemophagocytic Lymphohistiocytosis‐Like Syndrome Following CD19‐Directed CAR‐T in Two Patients With B‐ALL: Clinical and Biomarker Correlates

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Immune effector cell‐associated hemophagocytic lymphohistiocytosis‐like syndrome (IEC‐HS) is a life‐threatening hyperinflammatory toxicity distinct from cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and neurotoxicity following chimeric antigen receptor T‐cell (CAR‐T) therapy. In a single‐institution retrospective cohort of pediatric and young adult patients

Nonparametric Tests for Scale

open access: yesThe Annals of Mathematical Statistics, 1962
This paper is concerned with two sample rank tests for scale alternatives. The two samples are assumed to have continuous distribution functions with the difference in respective location parameters (medians) known. Various rank tests are considered and compared from the point of view of limiting Pitman efficiency for normal and nonnormal alternatives.

On the Use of Scaling Relations for the Tolman Test [PDF]

open access: yesThe Astrophysical Journal, 1998
The use of relations between structural parameters of early type galaxies to perform the Tolman test is reconsidered. Scaling relations such as the FP or the Kormendy relation, require the transformation from angular to metric sizes, to compare the relation at different z values.

The Role of Hematopoietic Cell Transplantation in Ataxia‐Telangiectasia

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Background Ataxia‐telangiectasia (A‐T) is a DNA repair disorder characterized by neurodegeneration, immunodeficiency, and cancer predisposition. Hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) is an established therapy in related disorders such as Fanconi anemia (FA) and Nijmegen breakage syndrome (NBS), but its role in A‐T is unclear.

Limb-Bone Scaling Indicates Diverse Stance and Gait in Quadrupedal Ornithischian Dinosaurs [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
Background The most primitive ornithischian dinosaurs were small bipeds, but quadrupedality evolved three times independently in the clade. The transition to quadrupedality from bipedal ancestors is rare in the history of terrestrial vertebrate ...

EEG analysis of trial subjects with discirculatory encephalopathy by multidimensional scaling method of cognitive tests and leads

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Research, 2017
Introduction. The EEG-data of patients with discirculatory encephalopathy and healthy subjects by the multidimensional scaling method are analyzed. The research subject is graphs of the vectors arrangement dynamics in the two-dimensional attribute space ...

Supporting Survivor‐Centered Care Through Digital Health Integration

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Survivors of childhood cancer face barriers to receiving guideline‐based, long‐term follow‐up care. Two digital tools, Passport for Care (PFC) and Cancer SurvivorLink (SurvivorLink), address complementary gaps by enabling tailored survivorship care plan (SCP) generation, updating, storage, and sharing.

Simultaneous joint scaling test for several correlated traits [PDF]

open access: yes, 1984
For generation mean analysis a simultaneous joint scaling test with several correlated traits is proposed. Scaling test for individual traits were compared with this test and in general were not independent and are relatively less efficient for the ...

Experience With Performing Rheocarna Therapy via the Single‐Needle Method for Treatment of Chronic Limb‐Threatening Ischemia

open access: yesTherapeutic Apheresis and Dialysis, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Introduction This study investigated the safety and efficacy of single‐needle Rheocarna therapy for chronic limb‐threatening ischemia (CLTI) with wounds. Methods Six patients with CLTI involving ulcers unresponsive to revascularization underwent single‐needle Rheocarna treatment.
