Algorithmic modelling processes in scan-to-BIM workflows [PDF]
The benefits brought by the application of the BIM philosophy to built heritage are now widely recognised, so much so that a closely related methodology, Heritage BIM borned. The HBIM finds practical confirmation in the so-called Scan-to-BIM processes;

Reconstructing Geometrical Models of Indoor Environments Based on Point Clouds
In this paper, we present a workflow that combines supervised and unsupervised methods for the reconstruction of geometric models with architectural information from unordered 3D data. Our method uses a downsampling strategy to enrich features to provide

Exosomal miR‐146a‐5p is identified as a pivotal regulator in steroid‐induced osteonecrosis. Its reduction activates NF‐κB signaling, compromises mitophagy, and disrupts mitochondrial bioenergetics, resulting in autophagic disequilibrium. Engineered exosomes delivering miR‐146a‐5p reinstate mitochondrial function, augment oxidative phosphorylation and ...

Scan-to-BIM technique in building maintenance projects: practicing quantity take-off
PurposeIn Hong Kong, over 20,000 private residential buildings will be 50 plus years old by 2039. However, building maintenance has not been owners’ popular interest because of the high cost as well as the complexities in justifying whether the ...

Through a mixed‐ligand strategy that precisely regulates pore size and framework polarity, the Xe adsorption behavior is transformed from flexible to near‐rigid. ZIF‐7‐Cl(20) achieves sensitive recognition, efficient capture, and high selectivity for Xe, enabling high‐efficiency separation from Xe/Kr mixtures.
