ATF4‐mediated stress response as a therapeutic vulnerability in chordoma
We screened 5 chordoma cell lines against 100+ inhibitors of epigenetic and metabolic pathways and kinases and identified halofuginone, a tRNA synthetase inhibitor. Mechanistically halofuginone induces an integrated stress response, with eIF2alpha phosphorylation, activation of ATF4 and its target genes CHOP, ASNS, INHBE leading to cell death ...

Inverse Obstacle Scattering Using Reduced Data [PDF]
Summary: The classical result of Schiffer in acoustic scattering is that a knowledge of the far field pattern for all observation directions and all incident directions at a fixed wave number \(k\) uniquely determines the sound-soft scattering obstacle \(D\).

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

An efficient algorithm for the large-scale smoothing of scattered data retrieved from remote sounding experiments [PDF]
We present a new algorithm for smoothing/interpolation of two-dimensional fields applicable to noisy data observed at scattered sites. The technique is based on a special statistics allowing one to simultaneously minimize the fit residual and the

Mapping of interstellar clouds with infrared light scattered from dust: TMC-1N [PDF]
Mapping of near-infrared (NIR) scattered light is a recent method for the study of interstellar clouds, complementing other, more commonly used methods, like dust emission and extinction. Our goal is to study the usability of this method on larger scale,

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Super-Earths in the TW Hya disc [PDF]
We test the hypothesis that the sub-millimetre thermal emission and scattered light gaps seen in recent observations of TW Hya are caused by planet-disc interactions.
