Mathematical Aspects of Scattering Amplitudes [PDF]
In these lectures we discuss some of the mathematical structures that appear when computing multi-loop Feynman integrals. We focus on a specific class of special functions, the so-called multiple polylogarithms, and discuss introduce their Hopf algebra structure.

A lack of standard approaches for testing and reporting the performance of metal halide perovskites and organic semiconductor radiation detectors has resulted in inconsistent interpretation of performance parameters, impeding progress in the field. This Perspective recommends key metrics and experimental details, which are suggested for reporting in ...

Analysis of the Lambda p Final State Interaction in the Reaction p+p->K^+(Lambda p)
The missing mass spectrum measured in high resolution studies of the reaction pp -> K^+X is analyzed with respect to the strong final state interaction near the Lambda p production threshold.

Extremely asymmetrical scattering of electromagnetic waves in gradually varying periodic arrays [PDF]
This paper analyses theoretically and numerically the effect of varying grating amplitude on the extremely asymmetrical scattering (EAS) of bulk and guided optical modes in non-uniform strip-like periodic Bragg arrays with stepwise and gradual variations

Symmetry‐broken plasmonic nanoantenna arrays achieve broadband multiresonant enhancement of second harmonic generation (SHG), third harmonic generation (THG), and upconversion photoluminescence (UCPL), under femtosecond laser excitation across the near‐infrared range (1000–1600 nm).

Relativistic corrections to the Pionium Lifetime [PDF]
Next to leading order contributions to the pionium lifetime are considered within non-relativistic effective field theory. A more precise determination of the coupling constants is then needed in order to be consistent with the relativistic pion-pion ...

A NOTE ON COULOMB SCATTERING AMPLITUDE [PDF]
The summation of the partial wave series for Coulomb scattering amplitude, fC(θ) is usually avoided because the series is oscillatorily and divergent. Instead, fC(θ) is generally obtained by solving the Schrödinger equation in parabolic cylindrical coordinates which is not a general method.

The THz drive of the Mott insulating state of a rare‐earth nickelate induces instantaneous insulator‐metal transition via quantum tunneling of valence electrons across the bandgap. This transition is pure electronic and highly non‐thermal, which may find its applications in ultrafast opto‐electronics with enhanced performance and minimal device size ...

2D Spin-Dependent Diffraction of Electrons From Periodical Chains of Nanomagnets
The scattering of the unpolarized beams of electrons by nanomagnets in the vicinity of some scattering angles leads to complete spin polarized electrons. This result is obtained with the help of the perturbation theory.

Helicity amplitudes without gauge cancellation for electroweak processes
In the 5-component representation of weak bosons, the first four components make a Lorentz four vector, representing the transverse and longitudinal polarizations excluding the scalar component of the weak bosons, whereas its fifth component corresponds ...
