Contactless Scattering Parameter Measurements

IEEE Microwave and Wireless Components Letters, 2011
An introduction to contactless vector network analysis is given for the determination of the scattering parameters of embedded devices. In the measurement setup, contactless probes are connected to a conventional vector network analyzer. Suitable probes are developed for the implementation of a contactless measurement setup, whereas the positioning of ...

ETA-NUCLEAR SCATTERING PARAMETERS

International Journal of Modern Physics A, 2005
The possibility of etamesic nuclei remains an open problem in nuclear physics until now. Various calculations give contradictory predictions even for the case of 3 He . In this paper we reanalyze and review the existing data and investigate possible limits on the binding energies and widths if a bound state exists.

Bounds on multichannel scattering parameters

Il Nuovo Cimento A, 1971
It is shown that definite bounds on a reaction matrix could be obtained by using the technique of asymptotic separation recently developed for the description of rearrangement collisions and processes above the threshold of the division of the system into three fragments.

Bounds on Multichannel Scattering Parameters

Physical Review, 1964
Using the projection techniques recently developed in the formal theory of reactions, it is shown that a bound on the exact reactance matrix K is provided by the close-coupling reactance-matrix approximation K/sup P/; that is, K-K/sup P/ is, in a sense that can be made precise, a positive definite operator.

Scattering Parameters of Planar Strips

2006 1st Electronic Systemintegration Technology Conference, 2006
The paper is focused on a calculation of the scattering parameters of the planar strips. The scattering parameters are defined. The primary parameters calculations of the planar strips are described in the first part. The influence of frequencies is included in the calculation.

Multiport scattering parameter measuring system

Conference, 2003. Fall 2003. 62nd ARFTG Microwave Measurements, 2005
A multiport scattering parameter measuring system for the full characterization of N-port devices is presented. It is based on a conventional two-port network analyser and an additional external switch matrix test set. The system is capable of full error correction including the one of imperfect terminations.

Polarization parameters in scattering theory

Soviet Physics Journal, 1984
General relations required for describing polarization experiments in terms of polarization parameters are derived. The results are illustrated in the particular case of the inelastic scattering of two spinless particles accompanied by the formation of a vector particle.

A new multiple scattering parameter

Il Nuovo Cimento, 1955
A new parameter is proposed for the characterization of the multiple scattering observed in tracks of charged particles. This parameter is the mean value of the cosine of a constant times the projected scattering angle. The theoretical relation between the mean value of the cosine parameter and the momentum-velocity productpβ of the particle can be ...
