Designing and Fabrication of High Frequency Ultrawide Band Passive Phase Shifters with Single Layer Microstrip Structure and Unequal Source and Load Impedances [PDF]
In this paper, a method is presented to design and implement ultra-wideband phase shifters, in frequency ranges higher than 10 GHz, with fractional bandwidth near a hundred percent.

ABSTRACT Introduction Patients with ovarian cancer often present with massive ascites, leading to significant protein loss during surgical procedures. Although cell‐free concentrated ascites reinfusion therapy (CART) is used in palliative settings to mitigate protein loss, its application in intraoperative settings remains unexplored.

Modeling dihadron fragmentation functions [PDF]
We present a model for dihadron fragmentation functions, describing the fragmentation of a quark into two unpolarized hadrons. We tune the parameters of our model to the output of the PYTHIA event generator for two-hadron semi-inclusive production in ...

Disordered but rhythmic—the role of intrinsic protein disorder in eukaryotic circadian timing
Unstructured domains known as intrinsically disordered regions (IDRs) are present in nearly every part of the eukaryotic core circadian oscillator. IDRs enable many diverse inter‐ and intramolecular interactions that support clock function. IDR conformations are highly tunable by post‐translational modifications and environmental conditions, which ...

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

Scattering Models for Ultracold Atoms
We present a review of scattering models that can be used to describe the low-energy behavior of identical bosonic atoms. In the simplest models, the only degrees of freedom are atoms in the same spin state.
