LDPC Decoding on the Intel SCC

2012 20th Euromicro International Conference on Parallel, Distributed and Network-based Processing, 2012
Low-Density Parity-Check (LDPC) codes are powerful error correcting codes used today in communication standards such as DVB-S2 and WiMAX to transmit data inside noisy channels with high error probability. LDPC decoding is computationally demanding and requires irregular accesses to memory which makes it suitable for parallelization.

Modeling the SCC

Proceedings of the 1989 IEEE Particle Accelerator Conference, . 'Accelerator Science and Technology, 2003
An interactive graphical simulation has been developed which is being used to design operational procedures and correction algorithms for the Superconducting Super Sollider (SCC). All algorithms use only measurable quantities to calculate corrector strengths, and thus are suitable for correcting a real accelerator.

Structural Behaviour of SCC

2014
The high workability and non-segregating nature of self-compacting concrete (SCC) offer a valuable solution for accelerating the placement rate and reducing the labour demand needed for vibration and surface finishing. While some of the fresh properties of SCC may differ significantly from those of conventional vibrated concrete (VC), the engineering ...

Transgranular SCC of Magnesium

2005
Transgranular stress corrosion cracking (TGSCC) was identified for plain specimens machined from as-cast pure Mg and AZ91 ingots and subjected to linearly increasing stress in 5 g/L NaCl solutions. This was evidenced by small, localised regions containing parallel steps, consistent with surface crack initiation, observed by SEM examination of fracture ...

Variation of monthly cow SCC compared to weekly cow SCC

American Association of Bovine Practitioners Conference Proceedings
The use of somatic cell count (SCC) as an indicator of udder health in dairy cows has evolved significantly since it was first introduced in the 1970s. It has become a cornerstone in milk quality assessment and mastitis management. Typically, SCC has been done on individual cow milk collected during the monthly DHI test.
