Abstract.— The gross morphology of the male internal genitalia of 16 scelionid genera and Malpighian tubules of 17 scelionid genera were studied for the first time. The number of Malpighian tubules is likely to he correlated to the body size, therefore is not informative for further phylogenetic analyses.

The systematics of the Australian scelioninae (Hymenoptera: Proctotrupoidea: Scelionidae) [PDF]
This thesis reviews Australian proctotrupoid wasps of the subfamily Scelioninae, but excludes those in the tribes Idrini and Baeini which formerly constituted the subfamily Baeinae. The taxonomic importance of adult characters, the phylogeny, zoogeography and suprageneric classification of the subfamily are discussed. The study recognizes 241 species in ...

Records of sub family Scelioninae (Hymenoptera: Platygastridae) from oriental region with description of one new species [PDF]
A new species from genus Cardalnamannus and re-description of species from genus Encyrtoscelio Dodd (Hymenoptera: Platygastridae) is being described, which were collected by sweet net collection from the state of Uttarakhand, India. The species Cardalnaumannus ramamurthyum sp. nov. is described as new species and re-description of species Encyrtoscelio

The species of the genus Baeus are small endoparasitoids wasps that attack spiders’ egg sacs. Although there are data of occurrence in several biogeographical regions, their distribution records are scarce, especially due to their small size, mak-ing difficult to collect them in natural environments.
