SUMMARYTwo new species of Macroteleia (M. arcticosa, M. donaldsoni) are described and figured, and two known species (M. magna Dodd, M. torresia Dodd) are redescribed and illustrated. M. apicalis Dodd is considered a synonym of M. magna; M. cornuta Dodd is excluded from the genus. A key to Australian species of Macroteleia is provided.

The genus Fusicornia Risbec (Hymenoptera: Platygastridae, Scelioninae) is a widespread group in the tropics of the Eastern Hemisphere, distributed from West Africa to Vanuatu.
