Imparting Biodegradability to Highly‐Efficient Upconversion Nanoparticles via Facet‐Selective Zirconium Doping

open access: yesSmall, Volume 22, Issue 32, 8 June 2026.
A simple incorporation of Zr imparts biodegradability to inherently inert rare‐earth‐based upconversion nanoparticles without compromising optical performance. Surface energy modulation of LiREF4 facets by a binary‐surfactant system enables Zr incorporation during hot‐injection synthesis.

Nanoscale stabilization of the scheelite-type structure in La0.99Ca0.01NbO4thin films

open access: yes, 2015
In this paper we report on the deposition of La0.99Ca0.01NbO4 thin films with scheelite-type crystal structure. Thanks to the film's nanostructure, we were able to stabilize the tetragonal scheelite-type structure phase at room temperature, which ...

Experimental study on floatation of scheelite ore of Jiangxi

open access: yes, 2014
In this study, according to the characteristics of scheelite in run-of-mine, the scheelite was concentrated by adopting the full flotation process with sodium carbonate as regulator agent, sodium silicate as inhibitor for gangue minerals, lead nitrate as

Flotation Study on One Kind of Low-grade Tailing of a Certain Polymetallic Mine in Henan Province

open access: yesKuangchan zonghe liyong
An exploration experiment was carried out on the flotation of low-grade scheelite in a polymetallic tailing in Henan. The minelogical characteristics of the tailings process show that the scheelite content of the sample is 0.059%, which is slightly lower

Reveling the Structural, Electric, and High-Frequency Dielectric Properties of Residue Doped-CaWO4 Flexible Multilayer Ceramic Sheets [PDF]

open access: yesMaterials Research
The mineralization process to reach Tungsten (W) involves several steps to reduce the impurities (residues), which makes the process more expensive. However, it is possible to explore the pure scheelite (CaWO4) and residue doped-CaWO4 on flexible sheets ...

Implications of Laser‐Induced Polymorphism Transformations in Bismuth(III) Vanadate Raman Spectroscopy Characterization

open access: yesJournal of Raman Spectroscopy, Volume 57, Issue 5, Page 761-765, May 2026.
Accurate crystalline phase identification is critical for optimizing the performance of BiVO4 in various applications. Raman spectroscopy is a useful technique for these purposes, but it should be noted that laser power during Raman analysis can induce polymorphic transitions, affecting phase interpretation.

Zircon-monoclinic-scheelite transformation in nanocrystalline chromates

open access: yes, 2010
Our in-situ high-pressure X-ray diffraction measurements on zircon structured nanocrystalline chromates show that the structural phase transformation from zircon to scheelite phase proceeds via an intermediate monoclinic phase, i.e., zircon→monoclinic ...
