The use of infrared thermal imaging in tonometry with a Scheimpflug camera
Journal of Thermal Biology, 2021Infrared thermal imaging is currently used in almost every field of medicine. This paper presents the novel use of thermography in ophthalmology - using a thermal camera to assess correct intraocular pressure measurement depending on the position of the patient's head during non-contact tonometry.

Generic Scheimpflug camera model and its calibration
2015 IEEE International Conference on Robotics and Biomimetics (ROBIO), 2015The Scheimpflug condition is performed by tilting the lens such that the object plane, the lens plane and the image plane intersect in a common line. In this paper, two parameters are added to express the homography of the perpendicular plane and the tilted plane. Its decomposition is integrated into the generic Scheimpflug camera model.

A new method for Scheimpflug camera calibration
2011 10th International Workshop on Electronics, Control, Measurement and Signals, 2011An easy way to achieve higher depth of field in a camera-laser configuration is to tilt the image sensor respect to the lens plane, such that the image plane, laser plane and the lens plane intersect in a unique line (Scheimpflug condition [1]). If something has to be measured with this kind of cameras, a proper camera calibration must be done.
