Hot‐Film and Calorimetric Methods With Transient Heating for Measurement of High Biofluid Flow Rate
Accurate measurement of biofluid flow rate is vital for clinical diagnostics. We propose a transient heating strategy using short thermal pulses and peak temperature tracking to enhance the flow sensitivity of the hot‐Film and calorimetric methods. Simulations show how optimal heating time maximizes sensitivity across flow rates.

Associative inference is influenced by schema congruency
The presence of overlapping elements in distinct events promotes the formation of associative inferences across event boundaries, thereby shaping how new information is integrated with pre-existing knowledge.

Counterion Dependent Side‐Chain Relaxation Stiffens a Chemically Doped Thienothiophene Copolymer
Oxidation of a thienothiophene copolymer, p(g3TT‐T2), via different doping strategies and dopant molecules resulted in materials with similar oxidation levels and a high electrical conductivity of ≈100 S cm−1. However, mechanical properties varied significantly, with sub‐glass transition temperatures and elastic moduli spanning from –44°C to –3°C and ...

Schema Inference for Massive JSON Datasets, extended abstract
Recent years have seen the widespread adoption of JSON as a data format to represent massive data collections managed and analysed by crucial applications. JSON data collections are usually schemaless, allowing thus for a flexible management of data.

Receptor‐Free Identification of Toxic Gases Enabled by Hygroscopic Aqueous Salt Films
Water as a gas sensor coating sounds impossible—until it stops evaporating. Here, hygroscopic salt solutions (LiCl, LiBr, H3PO4) form non‐drying aqueous films on CNT chemiresistors under ambient air. Gases partition into these liquid layers, sometimes transforming into water, and generate salt‐specific resistance fingerprints across a four‐channel ...

The Role of Schema-Governed Relational Categories in Analogical Inference. [PDF]
The standard approach posits that analogical inferences aregenerated by copying unmapped base relations, substitutingbase entities by their corresponding target ones, and generatingslots for unmapped base entities. Contra this account, resultsfrom Experiment 1 revealed that analogical inferences seldominclude relations that resemble the base relation ...

Tough Injectable Hydrogels Enabled by Integrating Rigid Homogeneous Framework With Flexible Chains
Tough injectable hydrogels are constructed by integrating a rigid, homogeneous hyaluronic acid framework with flexible long‐chain connectors. This framework–flexible structure simultaneously enhances network uniformity and promotes effective energy dissipation by enlarging plastic deformation zones under compression.

On the Number of Keys of a Relational Database Schema
We introduce an inference system for deriving all keys of a relation schema. Then we show that the number of keys of a relation schema R = is bounded by

X‐Functionality–Driven Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution in 2D 4‐X‐PEA2SnI4 Perovskites
We report a water‐based synthesis of 2D 4‐X‐PEA2SnI4 perovskite microcrystals with prominent photocatalytic (PC) activity for H2 production. The synergy between organic functionalization and HI‐derived iodide scavenges holes suppress octahedral distortion, and favor electron accumulation, enabling a PC H2 evolution ∼20 µmol·g−1 and long‐term stability ...
