A 56-year-old man came to hospital for a routine checkup. His medical history and physical examination wereunremarkable. Laboratory evaluation was normal, except for aserum prostate specific antigen (PSA) of 6.5ng/mL (referencevalues: 0-3.5ng/mL). Digital rectal examination revealed anenlarged well-delimitated prostate.
