Pauli blocking effects and Cooper triples in three-component Fermi gases
We investigate the effect of Pauli blocking on universal two- and three-body states in the medium. Their corresponding energies are extracted from the poles of two- and three-body in-medium scattering amplitudes.

Indigenous Futurities: Theorizing Futurity in the Past and Present
ABSTRACT Over the past 20 years, a growing number of activists, scholars, writers, and visual artists have engaged with futurism as a framework for representing the lives of Indigenous peoples. Inspired by this hopeful reframing of the past‐present‐future, contributions to this special section of American Anthropologist address the question: How can ...

Envisioning the Future of Work: From Ideas to Reforms
ABSTRACT Two different theoretical perspectives concerning technology and the future of work are examined. One is linked to mainstream economics, whereas the other is associated with critical (‘post‐work’) discourse. Ideas about work—its nature and impacts on well‐being—matter in both perspectives.

The contribution of faint AGN to the hard X-ray background
Hard X-ray selection is the most efficient way to discriminate between accretion-powered sources, such as AGN, from sources dominated by starlight. Hard X-rays are also less affected than other bands by obscuration.

Abstract The Arctic warms faster than anywhere else on Earth, and paleoclimate data are key to placing this amplified response in a long‐term context. But most past temperature proxies record growing season conditions, when their biological signal carriers are produced.

This study introduces a combined mechanical and biological process for converting cotton textile waste into fermentable sugars. Textiles are preprocessed in a cutting mill and subsequently subjected to mechanoenzymatic treatment in a wet rotor mill. Iterative milling cycles enhance glucose yield, while extended milling reduces particle size without ...
