In this paper we present a quantum Cheshire Cat. In a pre- and post-selected experiment we find the Cat in one place, and its grin in another. The Cat is a photon, while the grin is its circular polarization.

Groundbreaking advancements are discovered in 3D printing with new type‐I radical photoinitiators, including 1,1‐dimethoxy‐1‐phenylpropan‐2‐one. These innovative compounds, effective under visible light, enhance photopolymerization of acrylates and methacrylates, facilitating the creation of efficient nanocomposites and unlock the future of polymer ...

Using Cumulant Analysis For Entropic Complexity Measures [PDF]
A simplified approach based on the cumulant analysis of the Shannon entropy is proposed for measuring complexity. We report the result of such analysis for some generic problems (mixing r − component ideal gas, the simplest geometric ornament ...

Bilirubin Targeting WNK1 to Alleviate NLRP3‐Mediated Neuroinflammation
At physiological concentrations, bilirubin binds to the kinase domain of WNK1, thereby augmenting its activity and facilitating the phosphorylation of downstream SPAK/OSR1. This phosphorylation inhibits KCC2 activity, leading to elevate intracellular chloride levels in neurons.

Is Schrödinger's cat dead oa alive?
The Schrödinger's Cat paradox was proposed in 1935 by Edwin Schrodinger, one of the founders of quantum mechanics, as an attempt to visualize the macroscopic realization of a quantum superposition state.

Closed subsets of a CAT(0) 2-complex are intrinsically CAT(0) [PDF]
Let k be at most 0, and let X be a locally-finite CAT(k) polyhedral 2-complex X, each face with constant curvature k. Let E be a closed, rectifiably-connected subset of X with trivial first singular homology. We show that E, under the induced path metric, is a complete CAT(k) space.

This paper considers the ontological significance of invisibility in relation to the question ‘what is a digital image?’ Its argument in a nutshell is that the emphasis on visibility comes at the expense of latency and is symptomatic of the style of ...

Deep Indeterminacy in Physics and Fiction [PDF]
Indeterminacy in its various forms has been the focus of a great deal of philosophical attention in recent years. Much of this discussion has focused on the status of vague predicates such as ‘tall’, ‘bald’, and ‘heap’.
