Efficient Simulation of Open Quantum Systems on NISQ Trapped‐Ion Hardware
Open quantum systems exhibit rich dynamics that can be simulated efficiently on quantum computers, allowing us to learn more about their behavior. This work applies a new method to simulate certain open quantum systems on noisy trapped‐ion quantum hardware.

On the semi-direct product structure of CAT(0) groups [PDF]
In this paper, we investigate finitely generated groups of isometries of CAT(0) spaces containing some central hyperbolic isometry, and study CAT(0) groups. We show that every CAT(0) group $\Gamma$ has the semi-direct product structure $\Gamma=(\cdots(((\Gamma'\rtimes\langle\delta_{n}\rangle)\rtimes\langle\delta_{n-1}\rangle)\rtimes\langle\delta_{n-2 ...

Resolving the Nanostructure of Carbon Nitride‐Supported Single‐Atom Catalysts
This study investigates the nanostructure of Ni‐based single‐atom catalysts supported on carbon nitride. By combining synthesis, advanced characterizations, and DFT calculations, the study reveals a new architecture for the nickel active sites, challenging previous models.

Self‐organisation may result from organic systems fed with free energy provided that reactivity becomes a determining factor. The propensity of carbon to form covalent bonds can give rise to kinetically stable thermodynamically activated compounds possibly undergoing non‐linear kinetic processes.

The collapsibility of some CAT(0) simplicial complexes of dimension 3 [PDF]
We study the collapsibility of finite simplicial complexes of dimension 3 endowed with a CAT(0) metric. Our main result states that, under an additional hypothesis, finite simplicial 3-complexes endowed with a CAT(0) metric collapse to a point through CAT(0) subspaces.
