Transition Metal Molybdates Emerging Materials for High‐Performance Supercapacitors: A Machine Learning Analysis

open access: yesBattery Energy, EarlyView.
This review outlines a systematic summary of the recent development of transition metal molybdates (AMoO4 where A = Ni, Co, Mn, Fe, and Zn) based materials for energy storage devices. The advanced tools such as density functional theory (DFT) and machine learning analysis are provided to establish the relationship between materials and electrochemical ...

Separable Quadratic Stochastic Operators [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2009
We consider quadratic stochastic operators, which are separable as a product of two linear operators. Depending on properties of these linear operators we classify the set of the separable quadratic stochastic operators: first class of constant operators, second class of linear and third class of nonlinear (separable) quadratic stochastic operators ...

Profiling Serine Hydrolases in the Leishmania Host‐Pathogen Interactome Using Cell‐Permeable Activity‐Based Fluorophosphonate Probes

open access: yesChemBioChem, Accepted Article.
Leishmaniasis, a vector borne neglected tropical disease, caused by the protozoan parasite Leishmania, is a major global public health challenge with millions of new cases annually. Treatment of leishmaniasis is difficult for many reasons including a multiple life‐cycle stages, involving both an infective insect vector form, the promastigote, and a ...

Almost Everywhere Convergence of Riesz Means Related to Schrödinger Operator with Constant Magnetic Fields

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2013
We study almost everywhere convergence for Riesz means related to Schrödinger operator with constant magnetic fields. Through researching the weighted norm estimates for the maximal operator with power-weight functions, we obtain the desired result ...

Accessible Information and Quantum operations [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2003
The accessible information decreases under quantum operations. We analyzed the connection between quantum operations and accessible information. We show that a general quantum process cannot be operated accurately. Futhermore, an unknown state of a closed quantum system can not be operated arbitrarily by a unitary quantum operation.

Recent Advances in Single‐Atom Catalysts for Photoelectrocatalytic Water Splitting

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
Recent breakthroughs in the development of single‐atom catalysts for photoelectrocatalytic water splitting are reviewed. The potential design principles and strategies for the future development of SACs in PEC are proposed. In the end, we discuss the challenges and perspectives regarding fundamental research and advances to provide insights and ...

Some Estimates of Schrödinger-Type Operators with Certain Nonnegative Potentials

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2008
We consider the Schrödinger-type operator H=(−Δ)2+V2, where the nonnegative potential V belongs to the reverse Hölder class Bq1 for q1≥n/2,  n≥5.

On Dissipative Quadratic Stochastic Operators [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2007
In present paper we introduce the notion of dissipative quadratic stochastic operator and cubic stochastic operator. We prove necessary conditions for dissipativity of quadratic stochastic operators. Besides, it is studied certain limit behavior of such operators. Finally we prove ergodic theorem for dissipative operators.

SEC‐SAXS/MC Ensemble Structural Studies of the Microtubule Binding Protein Cdt1 Show Monomeric, Folded‐Over Conformations

open access: yesCytoskeleton, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Cdt1 is a mixed folded protein critical for DNA replication licensing and it also has a “moonlighting” role at the kinetochore via direct binding to microtubules and the Ndc80 complex. However, it is unknown how the structure and conformations of Cdt1 could allow it to participate in these multiple, unique sets of protein complexes.

Operators approximable by hypercyclic operators [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2014
We show that operators on a separable infinite dimensional Banach space $X$ of the form $I +S$, where $S$ is an operator with dense generalised kernel, must lie in the norm closure of the hypercyclic operators on $X$, in fact in the closure of the mixing operators.
