A new set of spirooxindole‐ and spiroindenoquinoxaline‐derived pyrrolo[3,4‐c] pyrroles has been synthesized through atom‐economic one‐pot multicomponent reactions. Based on the results, compounds 4b and 5a demonstrated promising Glide scores and exhibited strong binding affinity with decaprenylphosphoryl‐β‐D‐ribofuranose oxidoreductase.

Lithium and brain plasticity - studies on glial cell changes and electroconvulsive treatment-induced amnesia in rats [PDF]
Depression and bipolar disorder, collectively known as mood disorders, are devastating, common and often chronic illnesses. Imaging studies of patients with mood disorders have demonstrated structural changes in several brain regions implicated in mood ...

This study synthesizes novel pyrimidine–pyrazole hybrids and evaluates their antimicrobial activity against bacterial pathogens by targeting penicillin‐binding protein 3 (PBP3). Several compounds show significant activity against E. faecium. Docking studies reveal strong binding with HMG‐CoA synthase, while in silico pharmacokinetic predictions ...

Structure of the Saccharolobus solfataricus GINS tetramer
Archaeal organisms possess Cdc45 and GINS homologs that are likely to serve similar functional roles, but their structural interactions with the MCM helicase and hence their mechanism of MCM activation are not as well understood as for their eukaryotic counterparts. We present the crystal structure of the S.

Mathematics meets physics: A contribution to their interaction in the 19th and the first half of the 20th century [PDF]

Novel CTSA Variant Identified in a Thai Family With Late‐Infantile Galactosialidosis
ABSTRACT Galactosialidosis (GS) is a rare lysosomal storage disease (LSD) with variable onset caused by a defect in protective protein/cathepsin A (PPCA) encoded by the CTSA gene. The late‐infantile onset is characterized by developmental delay, visceromegaly, coarse facies, and cherry‐red macula.
