Growing Schrödinger's cat states by local unitary time evolution of product states
We envisage many-body systems described by quantum spin-chain Hamiltonians featuring a trivial separable eigenstate. For generic Hamiltonians, such a state represents a quantum scar.

THE INDETERMINATE PRESENT: AN ESSAY ON QUANTUM MECHANICS AND THE OPEN FUTURE [PDF]
The dissertation is a defense of the following conditional claim: if there are objective collapses of the wavefunction, then the future is genuinely open. Although this is no radically new idea, the strategy I shall use to defend it is a new one.

Inspired by natural light‐harvesting systems, this study computationally investigates a synthetic antenna by arranging cationic free‐base porphyrin molecules on an anionic clay surface. Using a multiscale quantum mechanics/molecular mechanics (QM/MM) approach combined with a multifidelity machine learning method, excitation energies are predicted ...

Is Schrödinger's cat dead oa alive?
The Schrödinger's Cat paradox was proposed in 1935 by Edwin Schrodinger, one of the founders of quantum mechanics, as an attempt to visualize the macroscopic realization of a quantum superposition state.

This study identifies a novel oncogenic role and a previously unrecognized phosphorylation substrate of BCKDK in RCC, wherein it promotes tumor progression and drug resistance through AKT phosphorylation at both Thr308 and Ser473 sites and activation of AKT/mTOR and AKT/ABCB1 signaling pathways, offering a promising prognostic marker and therapeutic ...

EBBP expression is significantly upregulated in DOX‐treated cardiomyocytes. Mechanistically, EBBP interacts with GRP78 to mediate K63‐linked ubiquitination, thereby attenuating the inhibitory GRP78‐PERK interaction and triggering activation of the PERK‐mediated integrated stress response (ISR).

The mechanism diagram reveals that the formation of trauma‐induced heterotopic ossification (HO) is accompanied by the polarization of macrophages toward the M1 phenotype. Additionally, the extracellular vesicles secreted by M1 macrophages, which contain periostin (POSTN), directly bind to PTK7 in tendon‐derived stem cells (TDSCs).

HCN2‐Associated Neurodevelopmental Disorders: Data from Patients and Xenopus Cell Models
Objective We aimed to characterize the phenotypic spectrum and functional consequences associated with variants in HCN2, encoding for the hyperpolarization‐activated cyclic nucleotide (HCN) gated channel 2. Methods GeneMatcher facilitated the recruitment of 21 individuals with HCN2 variants from 15 unrelated families, carrying HCN2 variants.
