Schubert Polynomials and Quiver Formulas [PDF]
The work of Buch and Fulton established a formula for a general kind of degeneracy locus associated to an oriented quiver of type $A$. The main ingredients in this formula are Schur determinants and certain integers, the quiver coefficients, which ...

Adolescents' trajectories of mental health in the MYRIAD trial. [PDF]
Abstract Background This study explored adolescent's mental health trajectories over the course of a school‐based mindfulness‐based intervention trial (MYRIAD). It examined whether intervention condition (mindfulness vs. teaching‐as‐usual), individual‐level and contextual‐level factors were associated with different trajectories.

Schubert polynomial expansions revisited
We give an elementary approach utilizing only the divided difference formalism for obtaining expansions of Schubert polynomials that are manifestly nonnegative, by studying solutions to the equation $\sum Y_i\partial _i=\operatorname {id}$ on ...

Climate Change Challenges Grey Wolf Resilience: Insights From Dental Microwear. [PDF]
We investigate dietary plasticity in European grey wolves across interglacial periods using dental microwear texture analysis. Enhanced durophagy is associated with warm climates in both modern Polish and British Pleistocene wolves, indicating deep‐time behavioural flexibility.

Photoreceptor degeneration has heterogeneous effects on functional retinal ganglion cell types. [PDF]
Abstract figure legend Photoreceptor loss has heterogeneous effects on functional retinal ganglion cell (RGC) types. A, illustrations of cross‐sections of rd10 retinae at different time points during degeneration. Left: P30, rod degeneration has commenced, cones are still unaffected.

Combinatorial description of the cohomology of the affine flag variety [PDF]
We construct the affine version of the Fomin-Kirillov algebra, called the affine FK algebra, to investigatethe combinatorics of affine Schubert calculus for typeA. We introduce Murnaghan-Nakayama elements and Dunklelements in the affine FK algebra.

A dual approach to structure constants for K-theory of Grassmannians [PDF]
The problem of computing products of Schubert classes in the cohomology ring can be formulated as theproblem of expanding skew Schur polynomial into the basis of ordinary Schur polynomials. We reformulate theproblem of computing the structure constants

A Murgnahan-Nakayama rule for Schubert polynomials [PDF]
We expose a rule for multiplying a general Schubert polynomial with a power sum polynomial in $k$ variables. A signed sum over cyclic permutations replaces the signed sum over rim hooks in the classical Murgnahan-Nakayama rule. In the intersection theory

Double Schubert polynomials do have saturated Newton polytopes
We prove that double Schubert polynomials have the saturated Newton polytope property. This settles a conjecture by Monical, Tokcan and Yong. Our ideas are motivated by the theory of multidegrees.
