Spherical-Radial Multipliers on the Heisenberg Group
Let Hn be the (2n+1)-dimensional Heisenberg group. We consider a radial Fourier multiplier which is a spherical function on Hn and show that it is a Herz-Schur multiplier.

Schur multipliers and second quandle homology [PDF]
We define a map from second quandle homology to the Schur multiplier and examine its properties. Furthermore, we express the second homology of Alexander quandles in terms of exterior algebras. Additionally, we present a self-contained proof of its structure and provide some computational examples.

Groups of order 2048 with three generators and three relations [PDF]
It is shown that there are exactly seventy-eight 3-generator 2-groups of order $2^{11}$ with trivial Schur multiplier. We then give 3-generator, 3-relation presentations for forty-eight of them proving that these groups have deficiency zero.

The Schur Multiplier of a Nilpotent Group [PDF]
In this paper we obtain upper and lower bounds for the rank of the Schur multiplier of a nilpotent group in terms of the nilpotency class and the number of generators and rank of the derived quotient.

THE STRUCTURE OF FINITE ABELIAN p-GROUPS BY THE ORDER OF THEIR SCHUR MULTIPLIERS
A well-known result of Green [4] shows for any finite p-group G of order p^n, there is an integer t(G) , say corank(G), such that |M(G)|=p^(1/2n(n-1)-t(G)) . Classifying all finite p-groups in terms of their corank, is still an open problem.

On infinite matrices, Schur products, and operator measures
Measures with values in the set of sesquilinear forms on a subspace of a Hilbert space are of interest in quantum mechanics, since they can be interpreted as observables with only a restricted set of possible measurement preparations.

Schur Multipliers and Matrix Products
We give necessary and sufficient conditions for a Schur map to be a homomorphism, with some generalizations to the infinite-dimensional case. In the finite-dimensional case, we find that a Schur multiplier distributes over matrix multiplication if and only if the Schur matrix has a certain simple form.

ABSTRACT The leading‐order asymptotic behavior of the solution of the Cauchy initial‐value problem for the Benjamin–Ono equation in L2(R)$L^2(\mathbb {R})$ is obtained explicitly for generic rational initial data u0$u_0$. An explicit asymptotic wave profile uZD(t,x;ε)$u^\mathrm{ZD}(t,x;\epsilon)$ is given, in terms of the branches of the multivalued ...
