The Hall Effects of Vortex Light in Optical Materials
This article models optical materials as curved spacetime to investigate light propagation, finding that the deflection angle for light with spin σ and intrinsic orbital angular momentum ℓ follows ϑ ∝ 2σ + ℓ$\vartheta \propto 2 \text{&sgr; } + ℓ$.

Properties of gravity near the Schwarzschild radius
The radius of the observable region of the Universe is of the order of its Schwarzschild radius. Due to the spherical symmetry, this allows to check the properties of the gravitational force in the vicinity of the Schwarzschild radius by comparing the theoretical and observed Hubble diagram at high redshifts.

Thermal Infrared Spectrometers for the Polar Radiant Energy in the Far‐Infrared Experiment (PREFIRE)
Abstract The Polar Radiant Energy in the Far‐InfraRed Experiment (PREFIRE) was selected by NASA to fly two miniaturized Thermal InfraRed Spectrometers (TIRS) capable of distinguishing the spectral signatures of surface and atmospheric properties in Earth's polar regions.

Abstract Let (Mn,g)$(M^n,g)$ be a complete Riemannian manifold which is not isometric to Rn$\mathbb {R}^n$, has nonnegative Ricci curvature, Euclidean volume growth, and quadratic Riemann curvature decay. We prove that there exists a set G⊂(0,∞)$\mathcal {G}\subset (0,\infty)$ with density 1 at infinity such that for every V∈G$V\in \mathcal {G}$ there ...

It is well known that quantum effects may lead to removal of the intrinsic singularity point of back holes. Also, the quintessence scalar field is a candidate model for describing late-time acceleration expansion.

Two Micron‐Size Dark Dimensions
Abstract Two extra dimensions of micron scale might simultaneously address the gauge and cosmological hierarchy problems. In this paper various observational bounds in scenarios with one and two large extra dimensions are examined, to see if they are compatible with the micron scale.

Bound-unbound universality and the all-order semi-classical wave function in Schwarzschild
We present a systematic method for analytically computing time-dependent observables for a relativistic probe particle in Coulomb and Schwarzschild backgrounds.

Black Holes, Space-Filling Chains and Random Walks
Many approaches to a semiclassical description of gravity lead to an integer black hole entropy. In four dimensions this implies that the Schwarzschild radius obeys a formula which describes the distance covered by a Brownian random walk.
