Systematic Status of Sciaena bleekeri Day, 1876 (Sciaenidae: Pisces)
1968I-INTRODUCTION Day (1876) a érigé une nouvelle espèce de Sciaena viz., bleekeri sur la base de deux spécimens de Bombay. Jordan et Thompson (1911) ont traité cette espèce comme un synonyme de Sciaena argentatus (Houttuyn, 1782) et le même cours a été suivi par Fowler (1933), Matsubara (1937), Lin (1938), Munro (1955) et Chu, Lo et Wu (1963).
